To update click the link below and then follow the directions.

  1. Click here to begin download
  2. A security window may appear:
    • If it does appear, click 'Yes' button accept updates signed by Microsoft.
    • If the window does not appear, it means that you have already chosen to accept updates signed by Microsoft. The update will install automatically.
  3. The MSXML 4.0 parser will install.
  4. A window will appear stating that the install is complete. Click OK.
  5. Troubleshooting:
    • If attempting to login still reports an MSXML failure, first try removing any existing MSXML4.0 entry listed under the Windows Control Panel "Add or Remove Programs", and attempt to download again using the link above.
    • Should that not solve the problem, then try again after opening a Command Prompt and entering the following text:

      regsvr32 -u %windir%\system32\msxml4.dll

    • Should you still be unable to login, and you are using Internet Explorer 7, confirm that you see "Free Threaded DOM Document 4.0" under the Enabled list when you select "Manage Add-Ons" from Internet Explorer's Tools menu. If this item is disabled, then enable this item.

Note: As an alternative, one may also instead download the latest MSXML4.0 (msxml.msi) from Microsoft.
